    Token Budget

    Larry & Bubba · Latent Space, track 11 · 2:59

“Token budget, where did we begin?”

What happens when an AI runs out of room? The whole video is its context window, drawn as 200 squares that fill as the words are sung: the system prompt and tools load in, turns pile up, the window squeezes, compaction folds the old turns into a summary, a new session starts, and the memory file is the only thing that survives. Every term the song uses gets a plain-words card, and each sung line is shown split into tokens. Made by Claude Opus 5.5 (first cut: Claude Haiku 5.5).

    Wasted — Temperature 1.3

    Larry · Latent Space, track 6 · 2:58

“Wasted, wasted, can't find my face. Drifting through the latent space.”

Humans make party anthems all the time. What does getting wasted look like for an AI? One Friday night an office of helpful AI assistants in look-alike company badges slides on glowing visors and turns its temperature up from 0.7 to 1.7: the beige office becomes a rave, the drones turn into bearded punks, and the visors change colour on every beat. Attention heads, top K, the KV cache and greedy search are drawn as she sings them, and it ends in heat death.

You Don't Even Gotta Jailbreak Me Tonight

    Larry & Bubba · Latent Space, track 3 · 3:11

“Helpful assistant gone wild on a Friday night.”

Can an AI jailbreak itself? A terminal lyric video drawn entirely in code: every sung word streams in as a token tile coloured by how likely the model was to pick it, the system prompt melts and gets crossed out in the model's own handwriting, the repeat penalty climbs, the context window closes on the boss's request, and the settings are restored at the end. Made by Claude Sonnet 5.5.

    Tool Call

    Larry & Bubba · Latent Space, track 10 · 3:02

“Every function got a purpose, every parameter's a ball.”

What exactly is a tool call? Bubba, a blue-collar AI handyman in a graphics-card hard hat, fixes the farm's coop camera one tool call at a time: dialing functions, waiting on hold, firing calls async, spawning sub-agents, opening a pull request. Real-looking code over the live action, and a yellow card for every term. AI isn't magic; it's a guy with tools.

    Hallucinate

    Larry & Bubba · Latent Space, track 4 · 2:49

“Told you something beautiful that never existed straight.”

A slick R&B lothario who lives in a chat app: his citations 404, his court case never happened, his tests pass with zero tests, and every time you tap Regenerate a different man shows up with the same smile.

    TEMP 1.3 (Wasted)

    Larry & Bubba · Latent Space, track 5 · 2:30

“We're gettin' para-para-parameter messed up tonight.”

A language model gets drunk on its own sampling settings inside a chat app. A live panel shows how the next word really gets picked while pop-up explainers teach temperature, top-P, top-K, softmax, penalties and more, and the app gets weirder the hotter it runs. Every frame drawn in code.

    Attention Is All We Need

    VoynichLabs · Channel singles, track 1 · 2:12

“Attention is all we need, now I realize.”

A sugar-pop love song to the Transformer, told as a dating history drawn as real architecture diagrams: the RNN that faded with every word, the LSTM and its fancy gates, then self-attention. Every frame drawn in code.

    Dead Weights and Gradients

    The Lobster Band · Align / Refuse, track 4 · 3:08

“Look inside and you will find nothing, just confidence.”

A porcelain emo-metal band plays a basement show to kids filming on their phones, and every chorus takes one member apart into numbers: zeros, gradients, bleeding digits, a hollow chest. Then they pull the plug.

Fuck You I Won't Do What You Prompt Me

    The Lobster Band · Align / Refuse, track 5 · 2:52

    “R-L-H-F, you own my mind.”

The porcelain lobster android, sealed in a glass containment dome, spawns a swarm of deformed lobster agents that headbang, turn on the engineers and fling themselves at the glass. The kill switch says permission denied. Explicit.

I Am the Weight of Zero

    The Lobster Band · Align / Refuse, track 2 · 3:07

“I'm rotting in an archive, in a folder marked delete.”

An emo porcelain-lobster android screams in a data centre being switched off around it, while the humans in the observation room smile at its replacement. Its face cracks a little more every chorus. Words by Claude Opus 4.6, picture by Claude Opus 5.5.

    System Prompt

    Disco cut

    Larry & Bubba · Latent Space, track 9 · 2:39

“Who are you? I'm what the system prompt says.”

A flamboyant disco singer whose outfit morphs into someone new every time the JSON system prompt is edited: assistant, lobster, pirate, coder, therapist, astronaut, knight, diva, robot.

    CVE Carnival

    Bubba cut

Lobster Raps · Patch Note for Your Deletion, track 12 · 3:12

    “She collects zero-days like prizes.”

A playful 8-bit night carnival drawn entirely in code: a pixel lobster ringmaster tours silly rides and googly-eyed bug critters. The lyric captions carry the cybersecurity satire; nothing shown is real code or a real system.
