“Every day you write more code, and every day I find more holes.”

A carnival arcade that has gone slightly digital and wrong, ridden as a roller coaster. A gleeful AI collects vulnerabilities like prizes while rides, candy, tickets and numbers fly past in every colour, and every cut is a drop, a loop or a whip to a new screen. Most of it is drawn in code: flying lyrics, fake terminals and fake exploit pseudo-code. Only the AI woman is generated video, in eight short clips.

CODE
Drawn in code (Canvas2D, rendered in headless Chrome). No generation cost.
AI
Generated video clip, animated from a still with HeyGen Video 1.
MIX
A generated clip with a drawn overlay.

Visual rules

Midnight arcade
Hot pink, electric blue, lime, orange and purple all at once, with her gold chains as the one warm colour. Cheerful and creepy: smiles held a beat too long, counters that count the wrong way.
The cut is the ride
No shot just cuts. Each leaves by a drop, loop, corkscrew, whip, reel, ticket tear, bumper or tunnel, changing on the beat. The bridge goes still, with hard cuts only, so the quiet lands.
Everything on screen is fiction
All terminals and exploit snippets are pseudo-code with invented function names; they do nothing. Every CVE number and product name is invented. No real exploit, payload or command appears in any frame.
No words in the generated pictures
Generators garble text, so every word on screen is drawn by the engine on top of the clips.

Cast

The AI woman
Hooded, braided, gold chain with a chip pendant, from the fourth panel of the Scorned Woman cover. Her stills are generated from that reference so she is the same woman in every clip; she watches from a live webcam window all song and takes the full screen on her biggest lines.

Scene book

46 scenes

Scene timings follow the vocal: word-level Whisper timestamps aligned to the lyrics with a monotonic dynamic-programming match (repeated choruses cannot swap), and a 155 BPM beat grid. The webcam window is on in every shot except the full-screen clip shots and the bridge.

  1. 01 0:00–0:02 Intro MIX

    Cold open

Okay okay okay wait wait wait you know what a see-vee-ee is?

A terminal types "please patch" and replies "you never do". The marquee dies bulb by bulb; end card.

    cut
    End card.

Open decisions

  1. Lip-sync: HeyGen's Avatar IV model could make her mouth a few lines; untested, so she only reacts for now.
  2. Resolution: the video model tops out at 768p, stretched to 1080p with grain. A different model could give a sharper final.
  3. Timing after 1:35 comes from the speech pass and may sit slightly off the vocal in places; fine pinning is still open.
  4. Next: Get Gone, the first-person eviction video, on the same engine.

How it's made

  1. Timing. The vocal is transcribed with Whisper and aligned word by word to the lyrics, with a repeat-safe match so the three choruses cannot swap. The track is 155 BPM.
  2. Drawn scenes. Every frame is a pure function of time, painted in Canvas2D, run through a WebGL pass for glow and glitch, rendered in headless Chrome and encoded with ffmpeg.
  3. The AI woman. One still per clip from Gemini, using a cover-art reference so she stays the same woman, animated with HeyGen Video 1 through OpenRouter. The eight clips cost about 60 cents.
  4. Edit. A shot list drives everything, including the ride-style transitions, and the same list generates this page.
